Today government has announced £213m of funding for the Norwich Western Link, which means the project can now financially go ahead. Norwich has been without a complete ring road for too long, and businesses are being held back by other political parties opposing this much needed infrastructure at every turn. Labour, Lib Dems and Greens have all campaigned for Norwich's missing link to be left missing - leading to more congestion, rat runs through local villages, and a constraint on economic growth.

"I’m delighted that the Norwich Western Link has secured the government funding it needs to go ahead. Our city deserves proper infrastructure so that we can grow our economy and have a more prosperous future. An investment of this size shows this government’s commitment to making Norwich an ever better place to live and run a business."
The Conservatives are the only party supporting the Western Link, with other parties and Norwich City Council opposing it. To register your support of the Western Link and stop other parties blocking it, complete David's survey here: https://www.david-thomas.uk/form/norwich-western-link.
